Watch out for

Chinese astilbe
In the hot, dry summers of Central Europe the leaf edges brown and the foliage collapses when the soil dries out or the plant sits in full sun, so without watering and mulch it only stays good in a shaded, moist spot. Powdery mildew can occur, and vine weevil grubs may eat the roots.
Siberian bugloss
The leaves scorch and turn brown in hot sun and dry soil; in the hot, dry summers of Central Europe it looks tired by midsummer without shade and watering. Slugs and snails may chew the young shoots. It self-seeds where it is happy, and seedlings of variegated and silver cultivars mostly revert to plain green.
