Nepeta × faassenii 'Walker's Low'
Catmint 'Walker's Low' (Nepeta × faassenii 'Walker's Low') is a perennial. Light: full sun, part shade. Hardy down to -30 °C. Drought tolerance: high. Sold in local shops from about HUF 1,800.
This grey-green catmint brings lavender-blue flowers and plenty of pollinators to sunny borders, path edges and rose plantings. Once established it handles dry weather well, but its roots need freely draining soil throughout winter. Cut it back after the first flush of flowers to tidy the mound and encourage another display.
